Remote Data Science and Data Analyst Jobs

Data Analyst

FuturLab - UK
Full-time

As a Data Analyst you know that hindsight may be 20:20 but insight… well, that’s worth its weight in gold. We’re looking for someone to own player insights at FuturLab, using this data to highlight opportunities and guide decisions. You’ll be excited to shape the way we use data as a studio from the ground up by establishing and advising on best practices.

You’re naturally inquisitive; always interested in what the data is really saying, rather than working off assumptions. By providing accurate and actionable data insights, you’ll make a valuable impact across a range of areas, such as game design, marketing and player engagement.

As a remote-friendly studio, we are pleased to offer remote working wherever possible. This role can be fully remote, based out of our sunny seaside office in Brighton or a mixture of both!

At FuturLab, we believe patience is as good for our games as it is our people. Therefore, we are a no-crunch studio, with a focus on wellbeing. You can read more about life at FuturLab .

Our ideal candidate will be:

  • Naturally collaborative. You’ll relish speaking regularly with a variety of teams to investigate queries, solve problems and make improvements where needed.
  • A superb communicator. You know that people don't always know what they want, or ask for the right things. You can help them clarify what they need, and then make it happen. You can get your point across to game designers, producers, programmers, and executives, adapting the way you communicate from spread sheets and detail, through to PowerPoints and the bigger picture as needed.
  • A data whisperer. Okay, maybe the numbers don’t actually speak to you, but you are a pro with statistics, probability and quantitative analysis methods.
  • Experienced in using data to improve games. You’re adept at using player behaviour data to help make better decisions and improve products and used to applying data-backed analyses in games to produce insights that help improve design.
