Job Description
- Role: Web Developer/ PHP Developer
- Location: Charlotte, NC (Remote Work)
- Duration: 6 Months to Hire
- Note: As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, coding, and customizing websites (internal and external) according to company specifications, building scalable web applications, writing, and modifying code, debugging pages, and training staff.
Required Skills:
- Proven working experience in web programming
- Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS along with JavaScript
- Expert level experience in PHP, (knowledge of Drupal, WordPress is a plus)
- Expert level experience in SharePoint/SharePoint Online
- Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, MySQL, Python or Ruby on Rails
- Creative control around designing the best frontend customer experience
- Creating content management system (CMS) and templates for shareholders (Internal, blogs etc.)
- Able to communicate well with coworkers and clients and explain the process clearly, with a willingness to teach.

What you do:
- Meeting with the business to review websites requirements.
- Design, develop and maintain external and internal websites to specified requirements.
- Maintaining and developing company’s Intranet to specified requirements.
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
- Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
- Create and maintain software documentation
- Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling websites
- Stay plugged into emerging trends and apply them into operations and activities
- Cooperate with other designers to match visual design intent
- Perform site audits and manage site analytics
- Providing systems training to staff and business as needed.
