We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Senior Front-End Web Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will bring their passion for building efficient systems, problem-solving, collaboration, constant learning, and have a curiosity about how things work and how they can be improved. You will be working with a lean, efficient, multitasking and diverse group of people to create a solution at scale, delivering high reliability and an exceptional user experience using some of the latest technology like React, NodeJS, Go, EFK, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, and Postgres among others. This is a full-time, remote position for candidates based out of Texas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Building and maintaining enterprise-class web applications and supporting software.
- Architect, design, implement, test and deliver highly scalable products.
- Master DYL’s development process, code base.
- Work closely with our engineering, product manager, and user experience expert.
- Develop test strategies, design automation frameworks, write unit/functional tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a STEM field at a minimum.
- Minimum of 2 years experience writing production level code in Linux ecosystems.
- 5+ years of web/software experience development complex modern web application on Linux.
- 5+ years of experience with React.js, knowledge of designing, developing and utilizing component based architectures.
- 5+ years of experience with Node.js.
- 5+ years of experience with Redis.
- 5+ years of experience in REST API, Microservices.
- Strong experience with leading teams.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker is a huge plus.
- Experience in CI/CD systems, tools and technologies.
- Jira/Confluence experience is a plus.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU MUST:
- Have experience with building highly scalable web applications.
- Able to prioritize weighing customer, business and engineer needs, communicate clearly and consistently deliver results.
- Experience with Agile software development.
- Good knowledge of database technologies.
- Work late hours regularly with offshore team members.
