About the Role
Join our dynamic engineering team and play a pivotal role in shaping both the restaurant and applicant experiences within our innovative marketplace. As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will spearhead the development of features and enhancements to our core back-end services and user-facing clients, ensuring a secure, well-tested, and high-performance Seasoned product.
This role also will collaborate cross-functionally with product, other engineering functions, and our go-to-market, and customer success teams to ensure a cohesive and collaborative effort. Together, we work towards delivering the best possible experience and product to our customers.
About You
We are looking for an experienced and proactive engineer who thrives in a remote work setting and is passionate about elevating product quality, security, and performance. Your background should showcase your adeptness at identifying and resolving technical challenges of moderate to high complexity, including addressing 'technical debt' to enhance team efficiency.
Moreover, we value your ability to mentor and guide engineers at all levels. If you have a knack for defining, evangelizing, and mentoring on best practices and coding standards, you will appreciate working with like-minded engineers at Seasoned.
What you’ll get to do

What will set you up for success
- 8+ years personal and professional experience in the software industry.
- 5+ years of experience delivering enterprise-class applications with at least three most recent years working with TypeScript, ES6/7 JavaScript, and similar technologies.
- 5+ years of experience developing and managing RESTful API applications with proven production-scale experience.
- 5+ years of experience building scalable applications in AWS with services including SQS, EventBridge, and AWS Lambda.
- 4+ years of experience with front-end technologies while developing both single-page and server-rendered applications in TypeScript.
- 4+ years of experience with Node.JS libraries and testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha and Jest)
- Advanced understanding of distributed microservices architecture, design and implementation.
- Demonstrable capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and organizational problems and propose comprehensive iterative solutions.
- Experience owning a project from concept to production, including proposal, design, and execution.

- Hands-on experience in functional programming.
- Relational Database design and optimization with PostgreSQL.
